Special Announcement

For those of us who miss our good friend C.S. Hadyen, and for those of us not so privileged as to have yet met this fine man, I have excellent and exciting news. Caleb has started a blog!

To ascertain the present goings on of my comrade, and to read his many and (usually) insightful thoughts, please visit the following website:

  • Thank you for the kind words, good Timothy. If perchance someone reads my blog, this will increase my traffic immensely. Here is a poem I just made up about blogs, technology, and the great need for wisdom in our day. Enjoy!

Ah, the lot of the simple writer: to write and to be not be read; to think and to be not perceived. Alas, a glimmer of bright hope springs nigh upon the horizon, and it rises. Behold the wondrous beauty. Hark! A reader perceives. A mind is enlightened. A pixel is employed to a productive use. And I smile to think of the fair process -- yea, the wonder, yea, the awe -- that technology hath wrought.

For the man in latter year, having no place to spout, to sputter, to speak his mind, to share his heart -- behold his lot in this day of ours. In this day, the age of information, the knowledge runs free and wisdom -- sadly alack -- is the jewel which we all must seek.

Now, in the age when a vast universe of information is "a click away," whereto shall we run for repose? Shall we look upon the words of folly contained in many a newssite? Shall we, the oft-contented fools of amusement that we are, employ our mind power to seek the base things, to understand the foolish insights of the wicked? Here, in our age, where we may smile to think of the great process -- yea, the wonder, yea, the awe -- that technology hath wrought?

Not so, my readers; behold, may you see in my words the wondrous wit and gentle splendor of God's Law written upon a heart and flowing from a mind. And if ever you spot an error, as a wise friend who sharpeneth the iron akin to his own, may you humbly, gently, and fervently call me to task. Enjoy the writings, my friend, discern, learn, and become enlightened in this age where knowledge runs free and wisdom -- sadly alack -- is the jewel which we all must seek.

Enjoy reading Timothy's blog, and if you have the opportunity, come on over to C.S. Hayden's Blog for some updates. I hope to start posting thoughts on prominent current events. I also hope to share some insights into Scripture passages that I am reading and studying. Thanks again to my good friend, T.D. Horn, for generously allocating space on his blog to mention my blog. I better get over there soon and update it.

In praise of God's wisdom, new technology, and friends nigh and afar,

    CS Hayden

  • Good gravy, man!

CS, you have blogging skills! (And maybe bow hunting skills as well?)

Welcome to the little world of blogging my friend. Tis a fun place to be.

  • This comment is for Caleb,

We visited your blog and were very sad to see we could not leave a comment -which is our specialty for now. It only allows comments to be posted from other bloggers. So if you would be kind, please change that feature for others to leave you comments.

By the way, you sure are keeping busy with studying! May God bless your every effort till you complete the task.

    Sincerly,
    The Torres family

    (Still remember us?)
