  • Hey Tim,

Thanks for posting another photo. Just a brief question: Could you perhaps enlighten us as to the occasion? It appears that Miss Bradrick was visiting, so I am assuming that some special event was taking place. That's just a random guess, though.

Any information that you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Also, real briefly, you might describe to your readers what "gelati" is. It initially sounds like a tasty treat, and of course I know what it is, but I am concerned for those who do not know and are perhaps afraid to ask.

    Thank you kindly,
    CS Hayden

  • For the purpose of enlightenment:

Occasion: Cecily Bradrick was visiting her brother, Peter, after spending six weeks with her older sister in Dallas. This particular evening Peter corralled a group of guys to enjoy an hour or so of gelati and fellowship at the Da Vinci Gelato and Caffe. We read from 1 Peter 4-5, I believe, and also a chapter in James (unless my memory fails me), followed by a prolonged discussion about various topics suggested by the texts. Many thanks to Peter for facilitating such an enjoyable and profitable outing.

Definition: Gelati (plural of gelato) - a soft rich ice cream containing little or no air.

  • You are indeed correct, Tim.

This was also my last evening in San Antonio. After that we headed back to the former intern house and I slept and departed for Missouri the following morning.

Thank you for posting such picture with so many good memories.

  • Very good to know, gentlemen. Thank you for posting this pic, Tim, and for the attendant explanations provided by yourself and Mr. Stubblefield.

  • Hey Tim,

So sorry I haven't gotten back to you about tommorow. My new cell phone (that I got a really good deal on) has decided to give me the blue screen of death, so I can't look up your number.

If it still works for you, it'll work for me. You can call me literally 24/7 because I leave my phone on at night.
