  • Dear Tim,

While I realize that this feature is "more or less daily," I believe that you have exceeded your quota of one for the day. But who can blame you, really? I am not here to complain, merely to point out an obvious fact that no one else is willing to face -- or, to use an alternate ending to my phrase, that no one else had even considered.

I thought that this was well worth mentioning. Feel free to disagree, if you so choose.

    Your friend,
    CS Hayden

  • Thank you, CS, for the opportunity to disagree with you. 'Tis truly an honor to do so.

Seeing as how my first "Random Picture" was posted on Monday, April 18, and my second "Random Picture" was posted on Tuesday, April 19, I perceive myself to be very much within the one picture per day parameter I established. However, if your criticism about my posting is unabated after reading the above fact, I am very interested in continuing this dialouge with you.

    Thank you for your time.

    Regards,

    Tim

  • Tim,

Having further considered the matter, I see now that you fulfilled the deadline by -- count them -- 42 minutes. You posted Mark's picture at 11:18 pm, long after CS had retired to bed (or, at least, long after he retired from his computer activities). Given that my day ends when my computer use ends, I saw that you had posted two pictures yesterday. However, I will gladly admit that time does not revolve around me -- I have not been able to redefine that area of life, and should I be successful with this endeavor in the future, I will need to redefine it in terms of God's eternal Law-Word, not in terms of myself.

So, to find a stopping point to this comment, here is my final comment: Thank you, Tim, for rightfully disagreeing with me. You have my sincere regards. Thank you, also, for your time.

    Sincerely,
    CS Hayden

  • Tim,

Don't start thinking that because you are posting a picture everyday, now gives you a right to stop posting anything else all together.

    Best regards,
    Brandon

  • That is a very good point, Brandon.

That thought did cross my mind. You see, I think that Tim is using this as a means to avoid having to come up with anything else to say on his blog. Thus, he posts a random photo each day -- that takes very little of his time I might add -- making him look like he is blogging on a regular basis, but in reality, he is not really doing anything with his blog.

If this is true, (and I like to think it is) this is very sad, wily, and a blatant exploit of blogging technology.

  • Wow, anonymous, those word prick to the heart. However, I will hold out and wait to render judgment upon my dear friend Tim. I happen to think that these photos will supplement and perhaps augment the greatness of Mr. Horn's blog. In no way, might I humbly say, will these photos detract from the greatness of -- and I quote -- "Tim's Blog (Original, no?)."

As I said, I will continue to monitor the activities and render judgment at a later time, if appropriate. My major purpose at this time is to stick up for Tim since I believe that this harsh treatment is not deserved at this time. I mean no disrespect, anonymous, to you or to your fervent and commendable desire to maintain the purity of blog technology. Simply hear me for what I am saying and allow that I am defending a friend in need.

    Your compatriot,
    CS Hayden

  • nice picture, tim. you better not stop blogging all together, though. some of your faithful readers might have their feelings hurt, and you wouldn't want do be doing that now, would you? how terribly sad that would be!
