My initial reaction to the picture was as follows, and I quote, "DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I have to ask if this is one of the said occasions when you have specific reason to select this photograph. Is it that you chose this leading photo to represent the tone of your coming posts?
As they say in my neck of the woods -- and in my toe of the valley, for that matter -- "Do what you like, and like what you do." Or, wait, did you say that, Shannon? I knew that some notable person said it.
I must agree with Shannon's initial reaction.... definately not the most flattering picture of you, Mark, though it may be an apt summary of your wonderfully wacky personality.... ;)
Dear "Anonymous", I respectfully submit that you might be much more effective in boosting ego/morale if you ceased to hide behind that veil of non-existance and came out and joined the "real" forces of devoted blog followers. Besides, the downside to being known as "Anonymous" is that anyone can make tacky comments and then hide behind your signiture, leaving you to take the blame. I do realize that if some particularly brilliant person makes a particularly brilliant comment and then chooses to hide behind the veil of anonymousness, you can take credit for that as well.

I feel honored to be first. Wait a second, should I feel honored by this photo? hmmm. Yikes.

Timothy,
The only question I have, pertaining to your statement about doing what you like, is: "Do you like what you do?"
Awaiting your response,

If these are the types of pictures he'll be putting up, I'm so glad we live far away, Leslie.
